Audience: Primary and middle school students
Location: HCCS, Verdun
Delivery: Expo stand + classroom workshops
Program Duration: Tech4Sustainability Day, 2025

Overview
As part of Hills Christian Community School’s 2025 Tech4Sustainability Day, Reality Bytes Media engaged students and educators from across South Australia and the Northern Territory in a day of future-focused learning. The event brought together students from over 10 schools to explore how emerging technologies can help address global challenges.
Reality Bytes ran a dual-format program: first, hosting an interactive stand in the Industry Showroom where students could ask questions about immersive technology, creativity, and running a tech business. This also provided a valuable opportunity to connect with teachers and school leaders interested in bringing immersive media into their classrooms.
Later in the day, Reality Bytes facilitated two hands-on classroom workshops in the school’s tech centre, guiding students through the process of building their own VR projects. Each project was designed to address a sustainability issue aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), helping students think critically about how technology can be used to make a difference.
